Jeff grew up in an outdoor oriented home, he majored in forestry and then went back to school in the 90’s to become an attorney. A hobby of his is wildlife photography. He is searching for a different path. When he saw the documentary Chasing Ice and read Elizabeth Colbert’s book on the sixth extinction it had a life-changing effect on him. Jeff is volunteering for the Endangered Species Coalition as a State Lead Species Guardian. He has already had an in-district meeting with Sen. Donnelly’s staff, got the Mayor of Indianapolis to pass an Endangered Species Day resolution and organized a media event at the Indianapolis Zoo with the Hoosier Environmental Council and the Indiana Wildlife Federation.
