Maureen Schiener

Maureen Schiener is a lifetime resident of Western New York and works in a medical facility.

Maureen is troubled by the increasing instances of asthma, allergies, and respiratory illnesses -and the growing link between pesticides and respiratory illnesses. For that reason, she supports strong control over the pesticide residues on our foods and setting up common sense regulations to reduce the impacts of pesticides on wildlife and human health. “When even the smallest of animal species start to disappear, it’s an alarming wake-up call. The natural environment existed for millions of years without chemical pesticides; I say let’s give Nature a chance to renew herself and lessen the amount of pesticides utilized for agriculture, golf courses and lawn care.”
